The D’Addario Classic Mic Lead is 25 foot (7.5 meter) long, has a XLR male and a XLR female and is made using oxygen free copper core wires with dense shielding.

This gives a cable that has low noise and low capacitance which means that the signal your microphone transmits is received at the amp / mixing desk with very little interference and virtually no triboelectric (handling noise) meaning you get the true sound picked up at the mic.
